Tian Yunyi, who is a private entrepreneur of Tianjin High-tech District, used about 10 years for research and experiment, and finally completed the design of “main transportation hub and unimpeded composite road-junction car-park system” recently. This system is a comprehensive blueprint for solving the specific traffic problems such as road-junction traffic jam and urban parking problems, which has also obtained the national patent for its outstanding effects. According to the design, no vehicles will be blocked along the road from all four directions so that no waiting time will take place. Moreover, the construction floor space of this system is only 1/10 of the traditional cloverleaf junctions, and the capital requirement is only 1/3 of the traditional systems. The total construction period only takes about 5 months, and all the parts of the system are completed in the factory beforehand. At present, the system has been selected into the competition of city traffic construction for Beijing's 2008 Olympic Games.
